Day trip
Oulx. A town comprised of many different hamlets, the historical centre of Oulz bosts an impressive selection of palaces, churches and fountains. It is also the hopping-off point for Sauze and Cesana ski resorts. It is only 75 minutes by train from Turin.

Bus: Number 16 from the terminal leaves every 40-60 minutes for Piazza Moro train station. The journey takes about 35/40 minutes.

August celebrates folklore and food with numerous events throughout the region. Festival Folkloristico Citta dei Trullim sees artists from around the world come to dance and sing in Alberobello, famous for its 1000 or more trulli (traditional) dwellings.

Alberobello. The fairy-tale town is known for its beautiful trulli houses, the conical-roofed buildings are unique to the area. Alberobello's 1500 distinctive buildings earned it a UNESCO World Heritage site listing.
